Its curved handle is made from ironwood, whose natural grain gives each piece its own character. Automatic opening raises the canopy at the press of a button. Eight reinforced fibreglass ribs, a strong steel shaft and an integrated damper stabilise the frame and produce a resonant, controlled sound as the umbrella opens. With a canopy diameter of 113 cm, the Distinct covers one or two people.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBlue\/Red has a double-layer canopy in two colours. The exterior is entirely navy, while the interior is red. The second colour becomes fully visible only when the umbrella is opened. This creates clearly defined outer and inner surfaces without patterns or additional decorative elements.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe tightly woven pongee allows water to bead and run off cleanly and has a rich, matte surface. Closed, the Distinct measures 92 cm and weighs 585 g in this double-layer version.
