Double-layered stick umbrella for the Roosevelt Townhouse Vienna
About the project
For the Roosevelt Stadthaus Vienna, a luxury boutique hotel housed in a historic palace, Sapor Design developed a custom umbrella as part of the guest experience.
The goal was to translate the hotel's unique atmosphere into a physical product—high-quality, tactile, and consistently aligned with the building’s architectural character.
The umbrella was intended to feel like a natural extension of the interior. Not as an additional accessory, but as a deliberately designed detail.

Product details
The Roosevelt Stadthaus thrives on contrasts: historic architecture meets contemporary interior design, premium materials, and warm color tones. The umbrella captures exactly this concept.
The base is the Sapor Modern, enhanced by a double-layered canopy construction.

The exterior was executed in a deep brown tone – Pantone 2479 CP. Calm, grounded, and architectural.
On the inside, by contrast, appears a soft beige in Pantone 11-4302 TPG. Light, warm, and deliberately surprising.
This duality is part of the design: when closed, the umbrella remains understated. It is only when opened that it reveals the warm interior world, thereby making a direct reference to the atmosphere of the hotel.
