It's the quiet, unobtrusive things that touch us. The scent of rain as it falls on dry ground - known as petrichor - is one of those moments. It evokes memories, emotions and an almost tangible connection to nature. For us, petrichor was the perfect inspiration for our latest project: the Petrichor photoshoot and the launch of our new model, Distinct .
Behind the scenes:
Our latest shoot took place in the middle of Cologne, between modern and simple architecture, wide asphalt roads and clear lines. The concept? Show everyday situations in a new light - moments that everyone knows but rarely notices consciously. Here, rain is not only understood as a functionality, but as an experience that tells stories.

From a moment of waiting on the side of the road, a walk in the rain, to quickly opening the umbrella as the first drops fall, every shot should show the Distinct umbrella as a silent companion.

With the Distinct we have created a model that offers more than just protection from the rain. It is a product that is defined by clarity, value and durability. After three years of intensive development, we are proud to present a model that for the first time also includes limited designs .

Styling and atmosphere: A tribute to minimalism
The photo shoot was deliberately kept minimalist to underline the essence of our brand. Inspired by the clear aesthetic of previous Jil Sander looks, neutral colors, high-quality materials and simple workwear elements were in the foreground. Everything was geared towards putting the umbrella at the center - as a functional and at the same time aesthetic object.
Two young people whose movements seemed effortless and natural. They nonchalantly reflected our values: subtlety, elegance and authenticity.
A city that is somewhat under the radar: Cologne. A mix of old and new buildings, clear lines and asphalt - places that seem both international and timeless, inspired by cities like Berlin, Paris or New York.

Petrichor is not just a photo shoot or a product launch. It is an invitation to be conscious of everyday life. Our umbrellas are more than functional objects - they are silent companions that take a back seat to make room for moments.
