We are rethinking the umbrella product from the ground up. Within two years we designed our own folding umbrella that differs in every detail from conventional umbrellas. For example, our umbrellas are generally equipped with 50 UV protection so that they can be used in wind and weather and you don't have to buy two different products. We have developed the lotus effect through special fabric types and 3 different layers, so that water rolls off extremely effectively and your umbrella is dry again in no time. We use the highest quality materials for every component, no matter how small, and by cutting out various middlemen we can offer a premium product at a fairly calculated price. Our aim is to make umbrellas a great accessory that you can combine with your outfits and where aesthetics and functionality do not contradict each other.

By offering repairs and focusing on the use of recycled materials, we aim to offer the first sustainable concept in umbrellas, one piece at a time.

We could go on writing at this point for ages, but just take a look at the details below to see what our umbrellas can do.

We came up with something special when designing the struts and the framework. The specially coated fiberglass of the shaft ensures extreme robustness and stability, while the 10 struts are flexible and lightweight.

So if the umbrella should flip over in strong winds, it won't break apart like conventional umbrellas, but the struts will turn around flexibly. All you have to do is close your umbrella as usual using the automatic open/close mechanism and the umbrella folds up like it always does, even though it is folded outwards.

This is the flip-over effect. You will love him. Guaranteed!

We tested around fifty different types of fabrics and synthetic fibers to create the lotus effect. The principle is simple. Three layers of fabric are placed on top of each other to create an extremely thick and durable material that allows water to roll off easily. After using it in the rain, you simply have to shake the umbrella or open and close it a few times and it is basically dry.

Nice side effect: The quality of the material is excellent and also ensures a matt color density, which is why our colors look particularly elegant.

A valid question. We are currently working on a lighter and slightly smaller model because many customers have asked exactly this question.

The difficulty is to make the umbrella lighter and smaller without losing too much stability and quality. Our development work is currently moving in the direction that the handbag umbrella will have 8 struts and probably be 25 cm long.

Valid from the date of purchase and in conjunction with the proof of purchase.

The guarantee applies to workmanship and materials. Damage caused by improper use or external influences is excluded.

We reserve the right to decide whether to repair the product or replace it with an equivalent product.

Right from the start, we work with a small, specialized company (partner) that lives up to our standards and continually develops. Our partners reliably ensure that our products are carefully manufactured to the highest quality standards. We work closely together on a trusting and progressive basis.

Before a product comes onto the market, it is tested countless times and subjected to numerous tests under real conditions. We develop a few, selected products and consciously take our time.

We will check your warranty case and contact you as soon as possible.

As with other premium brands, our Sapor Design umbrellas may sometimes be imitated or marketed without authorization.

These products do not meet the quality and safety requirements that we place on our products.

The design and other unique features of our umbrellas are protected, but we can never 100% rule out imitations.

Apart from the quality and high-quality workmanship, the price and the features on the inside of the canopy are good indicators of originality.

Our umbrellas start at €59 and are fairly priced. We want to work respectfully with all of our partners and have established rigorous quality checks.

The delivery time is 2-4 days within Germany and 4-6 days for Austria. In other EU countries, the delivery time is 5-7 days.

Within Germany we do not charge shipping costs from 70 euros order value. The shipping costs are 6 euros below.

For Austria, shipping costs are free from 90 euros.

The shipping costs for other countries are between 15 and 20 € and will be displayed in the shopping cart when you indicate your respective country of delivery.

We know very well that acting sustainably is a lifelong learning process that never ends. And that's exactly how we approach the topic. We strive honestly and transparently and always try to improve.

Our column handles are made from recycled plastic and we use waste paper or recycled plastic when packing and shipping. One of our most complex projects currently is the production of our umbrellas from 100% recycled materials. Of course, this is not the end of the story and solves all problems.

We send our packages climate-neutrally and use previously used cardboard boxes or packaging materials in the warehouse as often as possible.

Another important topic for us is donating a substantial part of our profits to social projects in Germany. We donate 10% of our profits and work with organizations where our team members are also personally involved.

In the summer of 2021, as our first project through the Vor-Tour-der-Hope, we donated our profits to the flood disaster in the Ahr Valley.

Sustainability is a matter close to our hearts and we do a lot to constantly make a larger contribution that pays off.

As a smaller company, returns mean a significant amount of effort for us and we continually improve our products to keep the return rate as low as possible.

Unfortunately, umbrellas are sometimes returned in a dilapidated condition. If possible, we fold the umbrellas neatly again and replace defective or dirty parts.

We sell these umbrellas at a discount in used condition in order to consistently minimize the generation of waste in every respect.

The umbrellas are packaged in recycled plastic to give them the best possible protection.

Every package is equipped with waste paper so that your umbrella arrives safely.

Our boxes are made from recycled paper or we use previously used shipping boxes to pack the umbrellas.

As mentioned elsewhere, we are working to make our umbrellas entirely from recycled materials.

We are also currently building a platform so that used umbrellas can be resold at an attractive discount.

Since we now have a wide range of know-how on all topics relating to umbrellas, we are working on a concept to be able to completely repair the umbrellas and thus offer you the opportunity to have your umbrella reconditioned for a lifetime.

We currently offer a number of repair options and are consistently working on making the umbrellas even more robust. In fact, the level of production is already at such a high level compared to other umbrellas that we are primarily working on our repair service and see this as the greatest lever in terms of sustainability.

You should really make sure to dry your umbrella completely after using it.

The best way to do this is to leave it open. You don't have to do anything else.

The lotus effect is very effective (especially when things have to be done quickly), but careful drying overnight is important so that the water repellency works perfectly for many years.

Our umbrellas are rigorously tested and go through numerous quality checks before they reach you.

If your umbrella has unexpected design defects, we will repair it for you free of charge. Each of our umbrellas has a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.

And if repairs are no longer possible, we will of course replace your umbrella and recycle the old one.

Our warranty covers design defects only and does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by incorrect use.

If the automatic open/close mechanism or the button gets stuck, it is usually sufficient to press the folded and tied umbrella firmly towards the handle. This will release the jam in 99% of cases.

The umbrellas are built in such a way that they cannot break under normal circumstances. The mechanism is very robust and you can usually release it easily by pressing hard.

If the problem cannot be solved, write to us or call us and we will take care of it.

This is usually not a problem at all. Squeeze the umbrella firmly and look at the shaft when it is open. It happens that it gets stuck. Normally a jam can be solved very easily.

If you don't know what to do, please contact us and we will of course help you.

That's easy. Always ensure that your umbrella dries completely and when open. We recommend letting it dry for up to 24 hours. Then you play it safe.

When opened, the drying process is gentle and natural. The material of the umbrella gets enough air to breathe and the protective effect is intensified again.

A nice question. We ourselves actually attach great importance to folding the umbrellas carefully again. They simply look particularly beautiful and also take up less space.

It requires a little patience of 4-5 minutes and once you've done it a few times it's actually quite easy. Take the umbrella at the natural folds/creases and use these to recreate the individual sections (basically rectangles). Then tie the umbrella together, making sure that the sections lay on top of each other.

Your umbrella will look like new again. Over and over again.
