Product description

Modern V1 is the first generation of our full-length umbrella with a straight wooden handle. Compared with the current Modern, its handle is slimmer. Some functional details also have a more traditional, less reduced character.

The large canopy opens automatically at the press of a button. Eight ribs support the canopy, and the press stud is embossed with Sapor lettering.

The red canopy gives the model a clear note of colour without overpowering its quiet form. The remaining first-generation umbrellas are available at a reduced price.

We ship to Germany and Austria with DHL. Delivery normally takes 2–4 days within Germany and 4–6 days to Austria.

Germany:

Free shipping on orders of €70 or more. Shipping costs €6 below this threshold.

Austria:

Free shipping on orders of €70 or more. Shipping costs €8 below this threshold.

Other countries:

Free shipping on orders of €100 or more. Shipping costs €10 below this threshold.

For deliveries to other countries, we use UPS or FedEx depending on the destination and service.

30-day returns:

You may register your order for return within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Please return the umbrella complete and securely packaged. Handle it only as necessary to inspect its condition, properties and operation.

Use & safety instructions

Check the umbrella for visible damage before opening it. Do not use a damaged umbrella; contact us at hello@sapordesign.com.

Open the umbrella only when there is sufficient space, and never towards other people or animals. Gently shake out folding umbrellas before opening so that the fabric and ribs can unfold freely.

Avoid using the umbrella in exceptionally strong winds and keep the outside of the canopy facing into the wind. Do not allow children to play with the umbrella or its opening mechanism.

After use, leave the umbrella fully open to dry at room temperature. Return it to its sleeve only when completely dry. Marks can be removed carefully with a damp cloth.
